This is a 267 bed Level 1 trauma centre and teaching hospital located in rural northern Pennsylvania. Robert Packer Hospital is part of The Guthrie Clinic that provides care throughout the central part of both New York State and Pennsylvania. They are rapidly expanding the integration of medical equipment into their EMR system and have been recognized nationally as a technology integration leader. Applicants will be joining an experienced team of biomeds and imaging specialists that provide support to The Guthrie Clinic's medical and imaging equipment requiring occasional travel between multiple sites. Experience in the operating room, sterilizer, or laboratory equipment is a plus. Position Summary Troubleshoots, inspects, repairs, maintains and calibrates a comprehensive range of clinical equipment, devices, systems and instruments. Key Duties Inspect, maintain, repair and calibrate equipment and systems. Ensures regulatory compliance. Provides advanced support of equipment for direct patient care. Interacts on a routine basis with clinical health providers in the identification of technology-based problems and solutions. Solves organization-level customer service issues and complaints.
